Help your kids show gratitude for their gifts with these Christmas printable thank you cards. The simple fill-in-the-blank style makes it easy and fun for kids to say, “Thanks!”

Christmas is over. Whew. We made it, mamas. I don’t know about you, but I was one tired elf by Christmas morning.
It was a good day though, and now the the new toys and gifts we received are scattered throughout my house like confetti.
My kids are blessed to have lots of family and friends who love them and like to send them gifts this time of year. Most of our extended family lives far away, so I like to have my kids write simple thank you notes for the gifts they receive from people they can’t give giant hugs to in person.
We keep things simple, but this simple act of gratitude is a way I’m teaching my kids good manners, helping them practice real-life writing skills, and giving them something productive to do during the holiday school break.

Reasons you will love these Christmas thank you cards:
- They’re small and simple. The cards are 3.5 x 5 inches (the standard size for small note cards), so you can fit four per printed page. Just cut them apart and hand them to your kids. No folding or fancy assembly required.
- The fill-in-the-blank style makes it easy for kids to know what to write. Maybe your kids LOVE to write, but mine do not…so having an easy-to-follow template helps make the writing feel doable to them.
- There are several versions to choose from! This set of Christmas thank you cards has a version meant for older kids who can write more, and one for younger kids who may prefer to draw a picture and have a parent do the writing. Choose what works best for you and your kids! I also designed a color version and an black and white version you can choose between…just because I like options.

So, grab your kids and spread a little more love before the years’ end with these notes. Enjoy!
