My Top Picks for Amazon Prime Big Deal Days

Are you looking for Amazon deals right now? Check out this round up of my favorite items that are on sale for legitimately GREAT prices right now.

I’m not one to shop for a bunch of random things for Prime Days, but I do think there is value in grabbing really good items you now your kids will love EARLY in the season so you don’t have to scramble in December and pay more than you’d like.

With that in mind, here are my TOP picks today!

Board Games

We love board and card games at my house, and some of my favorites are on sale today!

Outfoxed
Really fun cooperative whodunit game that is great for teaching preschoolers deductive reasoning. Best for ages 4-8.

Azul
One of my personal favorites. It’s enough strategy to be challenging, but it’s not SO complicated and convoluted to make my brain hurt. Best for ages 8+.

Splendor
We bought this one last Christmas, and it has been a family favorite ever since. It’s really simple to learn, and while it’s geared toward adults, it’s also easy enough for my 6-year-old to play (with a little help).

Toys

Magnet Tiles
Magnet tiles are one of the absolute coolest building toys out there. We’ve played with many different brands at museums and friends’ houses, and they’re all equally fun. We own a large set of Picasso Tiles (because they’re high quality but a little more cost-effective than some other brands), and they get used all the time. We eventually added on the Picasso Tiles Marble Run, which has been a fun addition to the base set!

Snap Circuits
We love snap circuits! They are exactly what the name implies: real circuit components that snap together to create working electronic devices. We have the Jr. Set and the Arcade set already. Not all the sets are on sale right now, but check out the Green Energy set. It’s the one I just bought my kids for Christmas!

Castle Block Set
This set is so fun! In fact, my boys prefer the castle blocks to our basic block set, and as I write this there is a castle set up in my six-year-old’s bedroom that he keeps begging to keep up “just one more day.” They’re beautiful wood, and so sturdy!

Mini machines construction trucks
We use these little trucks ALL the time with playdough or in our sensory rice bin. Our first set got loved to death after five years of near-constant use, and we loved them enough that we bought a new set to replace it.

Books

Little Kids First Big Book of Why My Encyclopedia of Very Important Things: These books are great for those kids who ask a million questions about everything. They are fun books to read together, and my boys also just love thumbing through them and looking at all the cool pictures.

Wipe Clean Letters – tracing book
This is such a great book for preschoolers who are excited about learning the alphabet. It comes with a dry erase marker for tracing, and the pages are really high quality (read: they actually do erase well). We’ve had this book since my oldest was a toddler, and all three of my boys have enjoyed it!

It’s not a long list, because I don’t want to waste your time sharing things that aren’t really a good deal, but these are items that if I didn’t already own them I would be buying myself today!
