Review of Tubelox: Our new favorite STEM toy for kids

If you’re looking for a seriously wow-worthy gift for kids that love to build, I’ve got the perfect recommendation for you…Tubelox. Use the code littlejoys for $100 off any set!

Disclosure: We received the Deluxe Building Set from Tubelox in order to share our opinion about their product. All opinions (and goofy smiles from my children) are 100% our own.

Let’s get one thing clear from the start: I am not usually a fancy, cutesy valentine giver. In fact, in nine years of motherhood, I have NEVER made homemade valentines. I am usually perfectly content to buy a box at the grocery store and keep things super simple. Maybe I buy a bag of lollipops if I’m feeling really ambitious. Maybe.

So if you’re in that phase of motherhood right now, that’s totally okay. You don’t need to do fancy. Feel free to skip this post and add valentines to your grocery shopping list instead.

But if, like me, you’re feeling inspired to do something a little special this year, I’ve got a fun (and still really simple) idea to share with you today!

A few years ago a friend of mine posted an idea on Facebook for a Mother’s Day tradition that I loved. It was simple, inexpensive, but meaningful. Right up my alley.

I subsequently emailed the idea to my husband and told him that I wanted to start this tradition in our family. He’s a wonderful man who knows a not-so-subtle hint when he sees it, and I was gifted a couple weeks later with my favorite Mother’s Day gift to date….

Need a quick last-minute birthday gift for a mom friend?
